    Hi all,
I've got Suse 10.1 running on this laptop, and everything is great apart from 2 things:
    1. the webcam doesn't work
    2. power management doesn't work.

does anyone know if there's ways to get power management working on this laptop? things like screen dimming would be good, to get some extra life out of the battery. i get about 2 hours at the moment.

    any thoughts, folks?

    cheers,
    paul

I take it you've already looked at the sonypi module? Apparently there is a problem with this module identifying more recent Vaio's, there's a patch here that allows it to work with the SZ series... so it may be relevant in your case too.

    Good luck.
