Ubuntu Life CD and
Ubuntu CD burned from ISO image
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE
-
Well, depending on which ISO you use, nothing. The Desktop ISO will create a live CD. The Alternate install ISO will not. I'm not sure about the server ISO.

Live CD is bootable, you can run an OS right from it without installing. "Ubuntu CD burned from ISO image" is probably the same in this context ;-) - afair all Ubuntu desktop CDs are bootable.
Just visit http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download and download the ISO you can then burn wiht Nero or whatever program you use, and boot from. -
Thanks to all.
I seem to getting closer... -
Yeah the Ubuntu CD is Live bootable or you can install it.

Its cool to be able to test drive the OS without committing install to Hard Drive.
