After reading about the linux power management issues that cause high load cycle counts, I decided to check my load cycle count. Boy was I suprised.

    Per hour avg.

    Vista: 19

    Ubuntu: 13

Ubuntu is currently doing better than Vista. Who woulda thought that. Anyone else seeing better results from intrepid? I had heard that the bug was still in effect on intrepid, but apparently this isn't the case? Anyone have any probs. It's still listed as a bug on launchpad.

*edit- I hit enter on accident. Could a mod change title to "Load Cycle: Vista vs Ubuntu"
