This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     My secretaries laptop died. Motherboard failure. So I decided to just have her use my trusty old HP Compaq 6510b. I am starting to miss Linux.

    There are several nice Intel 877 options available. Has anyone tried Ubuntu Linux on this processor/chipset.
