and it supports the latest wifi, uses latest kernel ala Kubuntu...debian based...I've been waiting on this one....NICE (of course it's KDE, but some users install Gnome)![]()

I'm using this now....it's pretty sweet...wireless and BT are fine....installed Flock 2.0 from getdeb.net. For vitualbox...should I download the Debian file? ah, MEPIS 8 is Debian Lenny, that's that ticket !

MEPIS=Fail.
But I guess I'll try... -
MEPIS 7.0 failed for me also...because they emphasize stability, they were using an old kernel which was was problematic for my wireless. New kernel this time around, and I do like the general way it's put together also with manual, etc. I'll see if I can find quibbles later when I get more time....try to sync my blackberry, VB, etc....
