This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Looks like a dumb idea to throw so much crap which isn't even meant to work together and try to force it to, onto one DVD.....

    Good luck, I've seen it before and it looked kind of cool until I realized all of the crap that is in it and how it looks hacked together.

    I'm checking ManhattanOS now....it's pretty cool really....it uses AWN for a bottom panel and menu/systray.....it's gtk basically but they've integrated Plasma on the desktop somehow....still fooling around with it. it's getting some good press. Looks very polished IMO....think I'll try it for an extended run and see what happens :)

    EDIT: Zorin is a much better OS to wean someone off of windows..it's much more integrated....LOL
