    So this is probably a novice question but I'm trying to install Mint and I don't have a USB stick. Is there any way to fit the ISO onto a cd (700mb) when the iso is over 800mb?

    Maybe you can find Mint distrib with only core in it ( no preinstalled packages ) ?
