Hint to mods. Move this around. I wont really care ;)

Mint on a CF-XX is nice. Notice that most 25,27,28,17,45,48,50 are P4 and under and wont be that suited for newer versions. On personal systems (on a M34 tester) it works okay. I wouldn't use this every day but its fine to use. Did a test with Firefox via ethernet connected to a spare server that supports IEEE 802.11b (frankly any one of mine could but I dont want to go through the hassle for a 2-4 hour test run and would then get some guy connecting to it etc.) but it worked fine. In fact typing this thread on this :D. Next was usability. Now being a P3 (possibly) I wouldn't expect “extreme” performance. Now I did kill my screen during this by being a complete moron and prying the screen open (don't ask questions) so I wont be using the enteral display. Next is feel to use. I personally live Windows. I can use OS X or macOS as its known as today but only on Snow Leopard. I love Snow Leopard for some reason. But I have had say problems on Linux bt Mint helps that.

Overall the Mint experience is nice. In fact Mint on a Gateway that I've talked about before runs smooth as silk. Core2Duos seem to be nice running Mint. I don't like the interface look but ehhh who cares. Did you get that all eh? Hopefully you did buds.

Sent from my M34 linux monstrosity.

Try 32 bit Peppermint on the P3-4 models, I had it running on a core solo 1.2 with 1.5gb of ram.

I'm betting a P4 will run it fine. That core solo choked on XP it was such a dog.
