This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    to be a linux guru, you should really know linux. how it works, the kernel, the interactions etc.

    also helping out ppl on the distros forums or even on here will increase your own knowledge and you will have the satisfaction of helping ppl out.

    also reading distrobution documentation/websites etc is also very good.

    as for me , i'm still a padawan..learning my way ..it would take sometime to master linux..i could do basics like cat , etc

    oh yes , dont forget the sudo rm -rf command...hehehhe , if you dont know how to use it , you can say goodbye to linux

    if you have time , you should hangout at Freenode [irc.freenode.net] and join ##linux or any distro rooms...

    nice idea I wish I had thought of that, so many times I forget how I solved a particular issue and have to solve it all over again just coz it ain't documented..
