Is there any way to have Vista and XP boot from GRUB? Right now in GRUB it boots the Vista boot loader and I have to boot into windows from there and it is pretty slow. Also XP will not boot at all, I get the following error message:
"Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.
Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware.
Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information."
But I can boot Ubuntu and Vista fine (through Windows bootloader although Vista is slow to boot up)

Yes, you can boot both Vista and XP from GRUB: http://lifehacker.com/software/ubun...leboot-windows-xp-vista-and-ubuntu-193474.php. Lifehacker seems to be down right now, though.
