I am going on vacation over this weekend. I want to leave a computer on at home to connect to from the hotel or whatever, then use my connection at home to connect to the internet for surfing. My desktop to be left on runs Ubuntu 7.04. I am using DD-WRT firmware with support for OpenVPN, don't know if that will help me. I don't know if it helps either but the router supports a few other features seen on this list under VPN.

So, how do I setup an encrypted VPN to my Ubuntu desktop to connect to the internet?
