    Hello hardware experts,

I've recently developed a hardware database of the ROSA Linux distribution and need a review: http://hw.rosalinux.ru/

For each computer the DB provides information about all devices on board (USB, PCI, IDE, etc.), drivers used and system logs (dmidecode, acpidump, hwinfo, smartctl, etc.). The computer itself is identified by the Mac-address of the Ethernet card. The DB is created automatically using the "probes" submitted by the users of the distribution. The example of probe for ASUS X71SL laptop: http://hw.rosalinux.ru/index.php?probe=5cd8764b41

The list of tested notebooks: http://hw.rosalinux.ru/index.php?show=machines&ftype=notebook

Initially the database was created for collaborative debugging of problems on users computers. But seems that it can be also used to discover hardware of laptops and may be for other purposes.

Is the DB useful for you? Are there some missed hardware info in the DB that we should collect from users computers?
