I had a dual boot of Vista/Ubuntu installed on my laptop. I decided to give it to my wife so I deleted the Linux patitions from Vista. Next time I started up I get a grub load error 15. I was using the Linux loader. Is there any way to switch to the Vista loader now?

I tried reinstalling Ubuntu with selecting the Vista Loader during the installation but still nothing.

I there any way to fix this?

boot with a vista install cd, go in the recovery console or command prompt and type:
    Code:
    bootrec /fixmbr

Does the Vista partition still exist?

Wild guess but maybe you need to have the vista partition boot flag set.
Ubuntu may have flagged its own partition and used grub to load vista where as the vista boot loader may need the boot flag set for it to find the os.

^ That is possible; the boot flag can be reassigned using Gparted.
