    I plan on going with the following on my Inspiron 1420. For the partitions, I'm going to be using gparted.

    80gb = Windows Vista Business
    6gb = Dell Recovery Partition
    20gb = Linux Mint
    20gb = OpenSuse

    Now, I've read about problems with the vista bootloader. How would I do this to get everything to work together? Is there a particular order?

    I have a duel Win XP pro/Linux Mint boot. I did XP first and didn't run into any problems. Based on that, I would say Vista first. After that, IDK.

    Install Mint last. Its GRUB will do the best job of identifying all the other partitions.

    Also, you'll have to set up primary partitions for the various OSs within larger, logical partitions.
