The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I choose both!
    I choose Linux.
    Or OSX
    Or Windows XP.

That's yet another reason why I installed Gentoo on my laptop. (One of the biggest reasons is actually because Vista is codenamed "Longhorn". I don't think bringing Longhorn to Texas A&M is a very good idea!)

vista was rushed so im sure updates will lessen any lag created by the system itself.....network speed is usually due to other restrictions out of your control, such as shared bandwidth or cable interference

    its all configurable eventually
