Ok, this may have been a mistake. *sigh* I just installed ubuntu 7.1 on my PC. I used to use truecrypt with windows on the second hard drive on my PC, I had the entire second drive encrypted. It seems as though that truecrypt for linux has no GUI, and I am just LOST with the shell. Can anyone give me assistance, I need to figure out how to mount a drive.

Is this what you are looking for?
Linux can have a very high learning curve for most users, but you will find that as you run into problems, there are countless forums and how-to articles out there for novices, intermediates and experts alike. Linux has a far larger technical support base than Windows just for people such as yourself (and occasionally me).

Haha, well you are very helpful yes, but there really isn't any "beginners" guides to linux, regardless of if they are called that or not, you must be at least somewhat linux savy to even get started. Unfortunately I've yet to ever actually have one of these guides WORK for as many times as I've tried any distro of linux, haha.
Anyway, I regress, actually that isn't exactly what I am looking for but it does help me with trying to get my portable hard drive working. *sigh* The linux community needs to concentrate more on the migration of windows to linux (mainly the massive amounts of files, it's just a pain having to start over, you pretty much CAN'T). The problem is mounting an encrypted volume with truecrypt, I have no idea what to do.... -
Ok, I found these links:

Oh dear god help me....haha, so lost
