Hey i have a hp dv6110us to be exact. I installed OpenSuse and it worked for me but the only problem was that i could not access the internet or anything for that matter, because the driver for the wireless card was not there. I was wondering if anyone has a solution to this because i have looked for a driver, or if there is a new version out.

What is your wireless card so we don't have to go look up your machine? :D If it's a 4965 Ubuntu will work right out of the box. Post some specs.

It's probably a broadcom card which HP likes to use. They have poor Linux support. You can try something like NDISwrapper to see if you can get it work.
