...how do I do a hard flush right? In Corel WordPerfect it's Alt+F7.

I'll bite... what is a "hard flush right"? It isn't just right justification is it? The only instance of the word 'flush' in the help file refers to "Languages Using Complex Text Layout".

That's what WordPerfect calls it in the code. Basically, I type my name in the upper left corner, and then hit Alt+F7 which jumps to the top right corner to type the date. Shift+F7 centers. It's very handy to know; everyone else in my class uses the spacebar or tabs all the way across. :p

My question is if there are similar key combos in Open Office.

Thanks, but that just changed the alignment of the whole paper. I guess if I want to do my homework in OpenOffice, I'll have to follow the APA style. (At least I think that's what it is).

    Like so:

    name
    teacher
    classs
    date

    Thanks anyway, everyone.

You're likely to get a much more authoritative response regarding what you're looking for from the OpenOffice forums. Such as this post.

    Good Luck..
