Nope. But it looks like it's available officially through the partners repositories. -
Anyone know about usb? 3d support?
-
Doesn't the user guide specify that kind of information? Its in the link you supplied.
-
Yes, but the only way to find out with Ubuntu given the VB hacks necessary is to try it, which I'm doing right now
EDIT: Still haven't done the trial, been working on syncing my blackberry which is done, getting to it...will report back... -
I installed the program, but can't even launch it manually or find an icon....anyone done this in Ubuntu?
EDIT: now reading this, interesting re Parallels: http://www.ubuntu-unleashed.com/2007/08/howto-install-parallels-on-ubuntu-to.html
EDIT2: from Canonical:
*Important note to users*: The current version in the Ubuntu repositories is for Ubuntu 7.10 users only. Ubuntu 8.04 users should wait for the updated version.
I guess so
-
is it free?
-
No, it's a 15 day trial, then 49 samolians, which I'd gladly pay if it supports 3d acceleration
-
So would I for my desktop. Do you know when it will be available for Hardy?
-
Don't know...I've sent them an email 5 days ago or so and haven't heard back....maybe I'll try to call them.
-
Wait, I'm confused. So does it support 3D acceleration?
