    One of my favorite Linux resource sites is www.pendrivelinux.com . For all of you looking to run Linux and thinking about using a USB thumb drive with persistence (saving you preferences and files) head on over to check it out. Who's yer buddy??? :D

    I did for the first time using Linux. I used to run USB loaded Ubuntu 7.04 on my Dell 1505E because I didn't want to mess up my Window's partition. It was painful when searching solutions and drivers for GPU and wifi. I also ran Mandriva and Pendrivelinux 2008 on USB. They were easier to use for the first time than Ubuntu was. Anyway, they're awesome, I've learned a lot about Linux thru these distros.

    Glad to hear it sunnylight. My fav distros are Kanotix, Knoppix, Mint, Suse, DSL, Mepis and a bunch of others in no particular order.

    I ran Fedorra using one of the guides on their site. I was impressed. When I pick up a netbook I plan on triple booting, XP, Win7, and Netbook remix of linux.
