I'm using a substitute for Gimp called Pinta. It was in the openSUSE build service, but it's also in the Ubuntu repo's I know.
Pretty nice program for those that are unaware of it.
It runs on Mono Libraries for those with philosophical problems with itBut, that's OK with me.

I felt left handed with GIMP....now, gimp seems easier after Pinta....I'll keep working on it....lol

yea keep workin on gimp....it gets easier..and u can always find some nice tuts

Very interesting, thanks for the heads up
Sometimes Gimp is too much and Kolourpaint is too less. This one seems to fill the gap
It is also (obviously!) on the AUR for Arch users. (and if it wasn't, I was just about to put it there)
