Hey guys, I got a problem on my desktop and my netbook...

On my desktop, I can never finish downloading the updates for Ubuntu, it does these things. (I reinstalled 2-3 times)
    1. Freezes competely at OpenOffice suite (I did it by terminal)
    2. My theme is gone, and there is no "windows", it's jsut stuck on a corner, I can't re-open the update manager, I got to restart, resume, then it will say something about a partial upgrade.
    3. Everything is gone, only wallpaper and cursor exists...

So when I do a partial upgrade beause of these reasons, it runs fine most of the time. But when I boot, it always doesn't finish booting... It just stays still with the gray flat cursor blinking... If I reboot again, I have a 1/3 chance to either finish booting, or get back in the same place. as before.

For my netbook, I never tried Ubuntu, but for OpenSUSE, it won't also let me finish downloading the updates. The update manager dissapears, and if i try to install anything via Install/Remove prograns, it dissapears again.

IDK what's happening.. Can anyone help me out? thanks
