For a while now, downloadhelper has been giving me 0 byte downloads of some (but not all) youtube videos.
Eg, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dmDzgucQ0s
Is this a known bug?
Any workarounds?

add ss before youtube in the link you posted, https://www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=9dmDzgucQ0s this will direct you to Free Online YouTube Downloader: Download YouTube Videos, Facebook and many others! then click more where you can save it in a variety of formats. I do not use the "save from net extension" I normally save it as audio mp4, but you need to rename it & add an extension , it shows up as videoplayback in your download folder.
A bit convoluted but it "normally" works -
Thanks Josea!!!!

Otherwise I'd guess there's a problem with your encoder. Either you are missing an audio/video codec library or they might need to be upgraded. I have mine setup to use ffmpeg and I don't have any problems.
