The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

http://boreal.rssowl.org/ My favorite RSS aggregator seems improved, the internal browser seems fixed so far. Installs portable-like....just extract to /OPT/ or wherever. Launch the binary and it will save feed data in your home directory. FWIW

EDIT: with RSSOwl you can set up a regular usenet newsgroup to read like a feed. Go to 'get more extensions' and install the experimental newsgroup extension if desired.

Tekzilla with good old Patrick Norton is a great informative time-waster sometimes and easy on the grey-matter :D  Now, Thomas or someone has put me onto LinuxOutlaws....more wasted time :D

For all the Owl'ers out there, here is a cool RSSOwl icon you can use. Had to look long and hard for that one.
