For some testing, I installed Hardy Heron, Vista SP1 and XP SP3 on virtual machines on my notebook. HH was a lot easier to configure and operate than Vista (XP continues to be my main OS). A real improvement in usability since the last time I tried Linux.

About a year ago, when Gutsy 7.04 was released.

I was surprised how much easier it was to operate on Hardy than Vista. I also tried Hardy on a USB flash drive to test wifi (can't test that on a VM) - very easy to use.

I may have tried both Gutsy and Fiesty. Hardy seems more polished - little things like using wifi seem to work better. I get a menu of available connects, it remembers my password, etc., while prior versions were not as easy.

    Oh. Gutsy. Hmmmm. Ok. :p

Anyways, I actually don't really like the password manager thing, but...
