    This thing is fast, first boot took 20 seconds!
    Wow, I love ReiserFS, even though this may be the last release :(

    Be careful, ReiserFS might kill your data.

    Glad it is nice and fast for you, I have never used ReiserFS personally.

    Ya, I dont keep much data on my HDD.
    Might as well not to, I reformat once a week.. :D

    if u reinstall regularly try out xfs, which is faster IMO...

    for large file transfers reiserfs is going to be slower than ext3.

    as for the other journaling file systems, you cant boot from them but you can use them as a partition. It all depends on what you intend to use your system for

    Well yeah, ReiserFS is intended for usage with a large number of small files.

    That's easily resolved with a separate /boot partition, so it shouldn't be too big of an obstacle.
