Hi, instead of always installing Ubuntu on a laptop/desktop and constantly doing all the various commands to get the restricted extras, etc, is there a way I could use Remastersys to just have those commands already done? I've read a couple of guides/links and all I'm looking to do is burn an ISO that includes only the installer and not a live CD, and includes the restricted extras/some proprietary stuff. Can I do this or will I have trouble?

(I have no experience with Remastersys)

I can't really answer Remastersys right now, but I'vd switched to Mint x64 just to get away from the codec/restricted ritual I always go thru....they have a nice software manager now also....fwiw

EDIT: the also use their own 64bit flash file rather than Karmic's 32 bit wrappered flash which I found interesting
