This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I've made a writeup of my experiences with Linux on the laptop above, with workarounds, notes on upgradeability and tips that may be needed to ensure a smooth transition to Linux on the hardware.

    In regards to placement, it might be better placed in the forum, unless you are going to place it elsewhere. FWIW, I think the mark-up you can do in the forums and with additional posts would handle what one needs (links, bold, underline, italics, and imaging). But then again, that's just my opinion.
