This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Booted the livedvd, have to say it's pretty impressive. Extremely well polished....seems like some great care was taken with configurations, etc.
    Curious to other opinions if you like to make another drink coaster once in a while :)

    the first thing I noticed was that nepomuk/strigi started indexing right away....they had enabled some appearance settings in KDE that I'd always done manually...seems they paid attention to details. Look gorgeous OTB. Don't know how the package management is now, couldn't try it.
