Compiz Fusion + Audrey Hepburn FTW!![]()
-
HAHA, nice pixelot.
-
Yeah since I installed Linux Mint a few days ago I'm trying to get all my games to work, or at least the ones I play the most, and then wind0ze is GONE.
-
I'm looking in to that, except I want to use my Vista license I've never used.......
-
Vista isn't worth it IMO. I'm gonna try Arch in a VM to see if I can set everything up, as it's more advanced, and if that works I'll probably use Arch x64.
-
Well, I might as well install it in a VM.......
-
ooooh another unix user!(I've ran unix in VMs)
Another desktop pic attached.Attached Files:

that woman looks much better than your friend, Guido the Monkey....LOL
-
You tried out unix, thezoid? So did I
-
oops
-
Unix? Yeah, like 1985......LOL
-
I tried it out last week
-
Thomas, ever check out Dreamlinux 3?
-
You know who Audrey Hepburn is, right?
-
Been to busy, Ubuntu dual boot guide, compiz fusion, other distros, etc.
-
I decided i'm quitting gaming soon, so the gaming isn't a problem anymore..
-
I just keep a gaming partition on my laptop (Vista) and try to use Linux for everything else
-
I've just tweaked out my XP Pro VirtualBox machine in Zenwalk....about done except for decorations and stuff like that. Oh yeah, Compiz....working on that now...
-
Hmmm, Thats what I'm gonna do(install XP in VB)
-
Any program that will let me run my linux partition in windows? Like VMware fusion.
-
VirtualBox is an awesome program....got my USB devices working in 1.5.7 per the Zen Wiki. Have you noticed that Sun Microsystems have bought out VirtualBox?
-
I noticed.
I'm about to resize(expand) my linux partition.... -
OK, here's my partitions:
WinXP
Ubuntu
Swap
Unalcollated(actually this is a partition I'm deleting)
How do I add the unalcolated space to my Ubuntu partition?
I'm using gParted...
EDIT:Found it! -
I'm trying to find a nice background image for the cube, if anyone can recommend one I'd appreciate it.
-
OK....here's my Zenwalk desktop still in progress...:

In Zenwalk, is it OK, I I don't install(by not running it in the zenpanel) it's boot loader or will it install automatically?
-
Yeah that works too, but I'm random, I'm doing something and I feel like gaming , and rebooting all the the time sucks.
-
Gotta love the XFCE mouse!
-
So, zenwalk, anyone?
-
I'm really tempted to.
-
Do I just install it with running lilofix? I'd like to keep GRUB.
-
Thomas....I'm just using lilo....you can use grub, it's on the Zen Wiki somewhere....basically I took my Vista Retail CD and restored the mbr to Vista, then installed the Zen 5.0 Standard .iso from the site. Lilo is easy to edit...so, fine with me....
-
I'll wait on Zenwalk.
-
So many distro's, so little time
-
I know, it's crazy.
I like Sam Linux, I'll try that. -
Zenwalk was the one that, after months of distro hopping, settled in on me...
Sam linux? I may boot up that dreamlinux cd and check it out again....just looks too good to be true....
-
You need some more eye-candy for that desktop, TheZoid. Or at least a better wallpaper.
Do you mean for behind the cube, like I have? I saw several good ones on Interfacelift.com.
One worth mentioning is "Ghost Town".
