I have a need to use a program that is specifically designed for linux to do some CAD modeling on Windows. The problem is that the application I need to run on linux requires a ton of libraries, I've been sitting here for the last hour just installing them all.

My question is can I slipstream these packages into a linux live CD or DVD so if I ever need to run this application and I'm not on my laptop, I don't have to wait for everything to install?
