    In case anyone is interested, I was searching for ways to switch between my Intel GMA 950 graphics and nVidia 7400 graphics chipsets on my Vaio SZ120 just like I would be able to under WinXP. Anyway, I stumbled across this page which explains how to do it using a clever little shell script and two seperate xorg.conf files: Link

    Works very well so far. Just don't get in a hurry and forget to make the script executable like I did. :rolleyes: Very nearly borked my xserver getting everything back. Hope this helps someone. Now on to trying to get the web cam functioning. I'm almost there with the fingerprint reader. :D

    Um, what does that mean? I mean there are several unique challenges with running Linux on the SZ. How exactly does this solve all the problems? For example, as of the date of me posting this there is no way to get the webcam to work. I guess I just don't understand your post.
