I just got a sony z12, and I'm trying to install kubuntu on it. The trackpad doesn't work either in the liveCD or the GUI installer. I'm fairly versed in linux, but I've never had to debug a trackpad not working. Any ideas?

    Edit:

New problem too. I went through the graphical installer with my keyboard and it failed in creating the file system. In the terminal on the livecd I get "Unable to seek on /dev/sda" when I type sudo fdisk -l. Apparently it doesn't like the raid controller. Any ideas on that either?

    Update:

I deleted the raid volume, and recreated it. Now fdisk is showing the 2 128gb drives. I think I'll install it on 1 of my drives and see if that'll work, and if updating after install fixes my driver issue. Or maybe I'll try debian or another distro.
