    I have a Sage NP8651.

I recently installed MInt on my m.SATA drive and would like to use my other 2.5" drive for game storage for steam.

I can see the other 2.5" drive, make folders and write to it with no issues, but Steam will not find it.

Is there something I am missing?

The 2.5" drive is formatted to NTFS.

Check if you find the drive (once mounted) inside /media/

Anyway, I better recommend you to make a native linux (ext4) partition on your drive if you are going to use it a lot with Linux.

But better start by the easy things and find your drive in /media (again, make sure it is mounted by having acces to it in the file explorer) and play with it.

Wow that was easy. I was assuming it was like windows in that I needed to back all the way out to see the specific drives. I did not think it was be under "media".

    Thank you

The df command is nice for showing all your mounted drives.
