    My understanding is that it's basically a set of programs that can installed into Ubuntu....or you can download and iso with all that preinstalled....nothing special other than the programs....that's about it.

    I tired it once, and all I have to say is it "messy". The whole thing seems very messy, like they just tried to throw EVERY media oriented program they could find on there. It runs considerably slower than it should as well. That's my brief experience with it though.
