This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    For people who don't like to leave the GUI, you can also access System Load Indicator through Ubuntu Software Center, although you might only be able to install version 0.2 rather than 0.3 at the moment.

    Either way, this app is a great way of adding the functionality of a much missed Gnome applet to Unity. Actually, it's better than the old Gnome 2.32 applet.
