Testing MX-19 beta 2.1

I am currently testing MX-19B2.1 (32bit version) on my CF-29 with somewhat amazing performance.

First off, it loaded without any intervention, meaning I didn't have to do anything in grub to get it to boot the single core proc.

I was about to replace the touchscreen because I could not get it to work with Mint. After booting off the live usb stick, I happened to touch the screen by accident and was surprised when the cursor moved. I installed MX-19B2.1 and installed the TS calibration program from the repos, ran it, saved to file and now the TS is spot on. It has performed stellar for something I thought was broke and was about to replace!

As with any bata there are issues, but of a minor nature, at least for me.

When the final has been released I plan on running MX-19 on all the units I have, except maybe the U1 (due to the small screen). I do plan on checking to see how it works/looks on the U1 and then make a final decision.

Edit: I forgot to mention that there was no change in the way the PCMCIA slots are recognized, ie. top slot not working, bottom slot works. Same as any recent distro. /Edit

Apparently things are going well as next will be RC!
I've been using 18.3 on my CF-52 and waiting on the final release of 19 before putting on the older ToughBooks.
