After using the ChromeBook Pixel I LOVED the idea of having a real laptop with touch screen, its VERY VERY handy
So I'm thinking to get real laptop for my use that has the same feature, so X1 popup as Thinkpad lover![]()
I found many article that everything works out of the box perfectly on the non-touch screen X1 including multi-touch gestures on the trackpad, but my question does the touch screen works?
So thought of asking the gurus over NBR forum as maybe someone has been into the same scenario before
Thanks!

What did you do with that wonderful pixel?

The x1 touchscreens I've had ordered haven't shipped and been delayed unforuntately. The non-touchscreens are wonderful unless I go super anal on the screen and its patterns. Really wish one of them would ship soon instead of JUNE/JULY as I for one, would like to check out the X1 Carbon touchscreen. Honestly the non-touchscreen is impressive im almost all regards and while taking a little touchpad tweaking its a wonderful machine. Yes Ubuntu is PNP on the non-touchscreen.
I don't know if the touchscreen works till I get one or someone else gets one. Hopefully soon! -
ever got it and tried Linux on it?
Thanks
