Sorry for being a noob but I just installed thinkfinger through the terminal with the following command: yum install thinkfinger. Everything went well and the installation is complete. However, I can't find thinkfinger now and its not in Applications.. Can anyone point me to the right direction? thanks

go to thinkwiki, but it usually runs in the background and you don't need to worry about it

Thanks for your reply.. I tested the driver and everything seems to be working. However, i am having problems configuring PAM to use Thinkfinger. When I type the command nano -w /etc/pam.d/common-auth, a window pops up. My question is how do I add this "auth sufficient pam_thinkfinger.so" line and save it? thanks in advance

in fedora it notes in parentheses that you have to edit a different file, which is "/etc/pam.d/system-auth" see if that works

make sure you do it either as root, or sudo - so try "su - root" to sign in as root in the terminal, or "sudo nano -w /etc/pam.d/system-auth"
