If you are looking to get the the next edition of Ubuntu (or Kubuntu) with a moderate level of stability ( remember, it's not totally perfect yet) then the BETA edition is a good alternative to waiting for the real release in April.
The English edition was just released moments ago. Curious? Here is the download link.

Sweet. I plan on dist-upgrading to it tonight.

Can I upgrade from Edgy?

Yes, there should be info on : https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FeistyUpgrades
There is also a new beta "dist upgrade" tool of sorts that they ask people to try.. maybe you could help them out?
Information is here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FeistyFawn/Beta/Kubuntu -
I'm REALLLY looking forward to the official release of Feisty.. I wish I had the time to play with the beta, but I'm loving my Edgy install right now...

You should download the "Alternate Install CD" of Feisty Fawn if you want to upgrade. The standard live cd does not let you upgrade...
