Hi, I'm trying to install 8.04 via Wubi.
All has worked well until I got to the screen to migrate settings.
It won't let me click the forward button no matter what I do :(
Any help? I've tried 3 times.....

    what screen is that?

did you dl the 32 bit iso?

have you tried restarting and booting again into ubuntu?

is the iso downloaded through wubi corrupt? check md5 ??

It's the screen where you pick a windows account to migrate documents & settings, but the forward button is greyed out.
Its not corrupt because it runs fine in VMs

    dont migrate your account then

i think you have to click and highlight a windows installation for the forward button to work

I decided to ditch Wubi altogether & well, here are my partions.
    45GB Windows XP MCE
    6.5GB Ubuntu Gutsy
    4GB Documents
    290MB Linux Swap

Also, it appears I suffer from that 2-3 min. black screen after Grub loads, but I know a fix!

ext2ifs. Then you don't need a shared drive.
