I am about to install Ubuntu 9.10 and I am wondering if a anti virus is worth it?

I gave the iso CD made and what I plan on doing is telling it to take 20GB (I am not going to partition it) and put it there.

Edit: I think I will use Avast, I did not know it supported Ubuntu

I use anti-spyware, lately Bitdefender, mostly to check for spyware in my browser cache....can't hurt...not many linux viruses right now, but that's likely to change as linux is getting more and more popular on the desktop.
