This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    First off, I know NOTHING about Linux or Ubuntu so this post is probably stupid (feel free to delete mods).

    I've been looking for a Ubuntu Netbook Remix image to install and have only been able to find packages to add to a normal Ubuntu installation. This sounds like more trouble than I want to mess with not knowing nothing about Linux. I finally stumbled upon this image file and thought I would share it.
