Hey guys/gals, i'm running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on my IBM T60. I have a question. Is there a way for Conky to display CPU and GPU temps? All I see is CPU usage levels. The only Conky command i'm using on the terminal is conky &. Might there be a command i'm missing?

p.s. I must say for some reason I hated Unity when Ubunti went in this direction but they have polished this OS where it's pretty seamless for the novice. It found 100% of my hardware.

I had success with Psensor on the Sager in my signature. It places an icon near the clock and showed HDD, CPU and GPU temps Psensor | wpitchoune. I do not think you will need the PPA, the version in Software Center should do what you need.

    Thanks for that

I was able to fumble and bumble my way thru it. My temps are what I thought running Ubuntu or any Linux Distro, HIGH. Which has been on most laptops i've used it on.

It's a shame Linux doesn't have a power mgr like that in Windows, W7/W8. :(
