Hey guys, i recently added ubutnu to my computer. i just downloaded the wubi-installer and installed everything and whatnot that had to be installed. now, when im given the boot options of xp home edition and ubuntu, when i press ubuntu, then press enter, it says loading kernel and all, and then a black screen comes up, and then after a while, it just goes back to the OS menu. has anyone else had this happen to them before or anyone know how this problem may be remedied? thanks a lot

By "os menu" do you mean the console on which all the boot up message show up?

If so, I'm guessing it is not able to start X Windows. Every time I've had that problem, the OS would try to start X Windows about 3 times and then would give up.
