I just opened up my Clevo M570RU, and boy do I love it :)

Only thing is that when I first put in the Ubuntu CD and select "Install or Run Ubuntu", it prompts me for a username and password. What the hell? I just put it in, and didn't install anything. What do I put in here? Or do I have to make another CD, because this one is faulty?

Wow. It hates you. JK. TRy burning a gutsy cd at 1x and see if that fixes it. And also if you have an 8xxx gpu use safe graphics mode.

Never had that happen, nor have I even heard of that before...

Have you tried running the "Check CD for defects" option?
