I loaded VM Manager then the Mandriva One appliance and I've been running it on my computer. It's pretty cool, although much less productive for me to use at this point. I just wanted to load it to try out, however I have a few questions.

    1. How do I get my wireless card to work? It says I need an ndiswrapper, which I downloaded (on ethernet) but didn't know how to install or get working,
    2. Will Beryl..or Compiz or 3D Desktop work in a virtual environment? I tried loading it using the Mandriva Software Manager and it said it worked, but then when I tried to open it or find it, nothing worked. Anyone know about this?

    Thanks everyone!

Which VM program are you using with VM Manager? VM Player? If so, you can just share the Internet connection with the host and the VM, including wireless.

As for Beryl, that will likely not work in a VM. The VM does not have direct access to the hardware acceleration of the GPU, although there are some workarounds to this if you search Google. You can allocate up to 128MB of your GPU to the VM, so you should be able to get Beryl working.
