Hey, I just installed vmware player and i have had it previously installed on windows xp for school because thats what they do at my college so i can acsess the school network folders on my own laptop. I was told that if i install VMware on ubuntu I would be able to use the wmware version of XP that is currently on my PC. I was wondering if any one could tell me how i go about doing this.

I think you just need to make sure that you have write access to the VM directory and then you can simply use the Open VM button, navigate to its location, and open it.
