After countless hours this has been the closes program I have found to Frontpage.
I just started playing with it today so dont ask for my opinion on it yet. I taught I will share this (hopefully) gem with everyone else. Only complaint I have is I have to run it in sudo because I tries to read some files in the var folder. I have to install some other libraries to get it to run. Take a look

    http://css-miami.org/

After using for an hour seems good but for the life of me, i cant figure out how to add sub web pages to the main page. Looks like you can only make the main one and thats it for now. I will post if i figure it out.

yeah I have, you need to know html to use it. Is has a preview on it so you can see what your web page looks like as your adding html code in the lines.

Nvu became kompozer, the last update for Nvu was in 2005. Thanks for looking but the closes to front page is CSS-Miami, unfortunately, I can only make the main web page. I cant make sub web pages to the main one. I think its still in development.

Methinks you should start learning HTML. :p http://www.w3schools.com/

I use Dreamweaver, but when i need to do a quick correction on a machine without Dreamweaver installed, i simply whip up good ol' notepad.
