I installed Ubuntu 10.10 about a month ago.

When I check the System ---> About Ubuntu ---> It says I have version 11.04 installed, released on April 2011.

Ok, you are running 11.04 alpha most likely, how you got it was through the repositories or you downloaded the alpha by mistake a few months ago(the ui normally does not change in the alpha so it will say "Thank you for installing 10.10 even though it was 11.04")
If it runs fine I would stick with Natty Narwhal.

    Unity ships with 11.04.

If the desktop is not Gnome and you have folders on the left of the screen, you are running 11.04. If not I would say you may have some components of 11.04 and 10.10, if this is the case either upgrade fully to 11.04 or downgrade (term "update-manager -d" to fully up to 11.04).

Desktop is Gnome... only thing I did was install the recommended updates.

Fired up the terminal, and this is what I found:

This is a known bug in the system reporting method. It happens just with 10.10 afaik.
